She was a Standard Schnauzer, only 5.5 years old, and died suddenly from what they believe was organ Hemangiosarcoma. She was my best friend and emotional support animal. She would come to me and lay on my chest during attacks to calm me down. I have been utterly devastated by losing her the way we did. Playing outside one minute, came inside, laid down, and I found her deceased about an hour later in her kennel (which I found odd because she rarely went into her kennel anymore).

I have 2 other dogs but they are nothing like she was. It was like she was a tiny human wrapped in fur. Blessings and light.

Finished up this custom cat coin purse in olive Italian Buttero leather with havanna cigar thread, beige whiskers, and a pink nose.

I’ve really enjoyed making these lately because every customer chooses different colors, and each one ends up with its own personality. This one is probably my favorite combination so far.

The paws unsnap to reveal a hidden card pocket, and the zippered compartment holds coins, cash, or other small essentials.

Ended up getting her a 4th distemper parvo shot at the vet’s recommendation. He said they’ve discovered that Parvo has broken through with bully breeds, so this was an extra precaution. Exam went well and she‘s gained about 5.5 pounds since last month.

She had a blast saying hi to the vet staff and random people coming in.

One of my favourite mixed media drawings in the Monster High section of my sketchbook is this dramatically lit Frankie, inspired by a very famous and beautiful image of Elsa Lanchester’s Bride of Frankenstein! It was SO FUN to pay homage in this way while challenging myself with a different angle and dramatic lighting that is right up my alley ⚡️

This tri-color baby heron woke up HANGRY!

Had to say goodbye today after struggling with kidney disease. She was only 10 years old. She definitely had that “tortitude” and we loved that about her. She was such a good kitty and we loved her so much. This is devastating. We will miss you forever kelso. We hope someday we will meet again. 🖤

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded to my post a few days ago about my sweet Kitsy. Warm words and kind suggestions meant so much to me.
While i couldn't afford home euthanasia, the place we took her to yesterday was quiet and calm and she passed in my arms with nothing but love around her. It was the hardest day ever. I know people usually have humans as best friends but she was very much my honest-to-god best friend. Today was harder because i had to do my daily routine without her involvement. My other cat is grieving, she got to sniff her and understood she was gone, but at least we have each other and she didn't have to be confused.
RIP my sweet feisty baby. And may everyone who lost their sweet pets find peace.

This beautiful girl showed up in my yard two weeks ago. She was so skinny and had a cold, took her to the vet and she’s getting better with antibiotics and gaining weight. A TRN alum, already spayed.

She’s incredibly sweet and loves pets. She hasn’t shown much interest in coming inside but I have an outdoor cat shelter and I leave the screen door open if she wants to explore inside on her own terms.

The boys seem fine with her, my CDS residents: Sir Charles, Chester and Gary (last photo). Working on a name. Lady Tabitha or Lady Winnifred maybe.
