2024: Mike Brown on braindead Fox play: "If you're up 3, you gotta guard your man at the 3. I need to go back and watch Fox. Should NOT be in position to help. Should be hugged up to your man. 100% told guys, can't give up a 3. Stay connected. I even drew an example." (Brown was fired the next day)

Also KAT gesturing to the fan in orange to get closer to Harper is hilarious.

Good example of home court advantage here, barely gave him any room to breathe.

Karl-Anthony Towns currently has the highest playoff run plus/minus in NBA history (+262), ahead of Stephen Curry (+245)

Karl Anthony Towns has been stellar, even more impressive then his offence is his defence. I’ve never seen another big guard Wemby so well. He’s also the best big man floor spacer in the league and just has been massive for New York this post season.

Jalen Brunson is currently 4th all time at +224, Draymond Green sits at 3rd with +227.

[ESPN] Knicks fans direct jeers, flying egg at Spurs' Victor Wembanyama

A brutal night for Victor Wembanyama continued even after he returned to his hotel on Wednesday, as he was pelted with boos from jeering Knicks fans and nearly struck by a flying egg.

A video shared online showed at least one egg tossed in the direction of the San Antonio Spurs superstar as he entered his hotel, flanked by security, following the team's Game 4 loss to the Knicks in the NBA Finals.

It was not clear who threw the egg. The video showed taunting fans swarming the hotel a few blocks south of Madison Square Garden.

A few seconds after the egg cracked on a street sign, Wembanyama turned around and confronted a person standing near the hotel's entrance, before continuing inside.

The Spurs did not immediately respond to a request seeking clarity on whether the object struck Wembanyama.

The Knicks' historic victory prompted scenes of bedlam and jubilation across New York City, as ecstatic fans packed the streets, set off fireworks, scaled lampposts and at times clashed with police.

According to the New York Police Department, 56 people were taken into custody for charges that ranged from assault to disorderly conduct.

"Once again, there were large crowds of people who engaged in incredibly reckless and dangerous behavior last night both during and after the game," the police department said in a statement.

An NYPD spokesperson said they had nothing on file about the egg incident.

[ESPN] The NY Knicks are currently up 3-1 in the series against SAS. Teams in NBA Finals history that were up 3-1 have a 37-1 all-time record

The comeback was also the biggest comeback in finals history. The second biggest comeback was in 2008 when the Celtics defeated the LA Lakers after trailing by 24 points. The Lakers missed all eight of their 3-point attempts in the second half, as the Celtics took a 3-1 series lead and ultimately won the series in six games.

Lowe: "In the Finals, he is averaging 24ppg on 58% shooting and 57% on 3s. And despite averaging 5.5 pts less, 3 and change assists less than Jalen Brunson, and Jalen Brunson having big moments in Game 1 and 2 in San Antonio, I think the Finals MVP right now would be OG Anunoby, with a bullet."
